It’s important to see a doctor for a proper diagnosis if you are experiencing symptoms of hypothyroidism, including thyroid weight gain. At the same time, you have to take prompt steps to balance your hormones.

Lifestyle Changes to Manage Weight Gain

  • In addition to medication, lifestyle changes can also help to manage weight gain caused by hypothyroidism.
  • Maintaining a healthy diet, with plenty of fruits and vegetables, lean protein, and whole grains, can help to provide the nutrients your body needs while also promoting weight loss.
  • Regular physical activity, such as exercise or daily walks, can also help to boost metabolism and promote weight loss.
